i'm back in Melbourne from Brisbane
after having the Australian Uni Games there
got a silver medal after having to fight my team mate
in the final round in my weight divison

well i left Melb on sun[25th of sept]
arrived back on sat [1st oct]
had an awesome time with my mates from Taekwondo

Hello people!!
hows it going for all u guys?
well i'm finally here to update

i just finished my last paper today
which finally brings me to the start
of my holidays
look at my exam dates:
6,7,9, 22!!
how annoying!
and i'm hoping i don't fail my physics
totally blanked out when i sat for the paper.

that's how it went.haha!

Anyway if u guys didnt know
i joined the Melbourne Uni Taekwondo Club
i found out they have both
contact and non-contact
so of course i'm in the contact one!
Went for the Victorian Winter Open
i lost my one and only match
10 to 11
but cos my match was the last match
in my weight division i got a silver
and i must say i was SUPER disappointed in the result
not that i'm bragging
but everyone in my club expected me to win
even my coach!
argh!
but once i stepped onto the mat
EVERYTHING i had be trained to do
just flew out the window!!!!
Oh well now i'm training
for the University Games
which will be held in Brisbane later on in the year

Upcoming events for this holiday are

-I'm going for a 5-day Bartending Course...yay!
i'll be learning how to make cocktails!

-i'm finally going to take my driving lessons
manual of course then i can drive sports cars!if i even get to own1..haha!

-i am going to get a job somewhere out there...haha!

-LOTS of Wimbledon action!!!

swimming pool and hot tub

in the toilet,bedroom,gym,hot tub,EVERYWHERE!!
ANYWAY back to the vagina wash!
these housemates have to ration everything
so this house mate Vesna was colouring Logan's hair
and they had no shampoo!

Block tests are over!!! But I don't feel exactly good about it. Hahaha so I guess I'm off to the P-Place. Competition's in 5 weeks time and we just changed the competition piece. Okay, normally people don't change their competition piece like now. Haha. But I'm cool, just that you guys won't get to see much of me in the following months I guess. Changed from opera to opera, from Merry Widow to Carmen Fantasy. Come down for my top honours band concert if SAJC do make it to the Top 5 in july at Esplanade. Yup, that's gonna be my very last band concert. Okay lah, not really I'm still stuck in Saints Alumni Band. Hmm, many many performances. I see myself getting screwed by teachers for at least the next 5 weeks. Lalala.

hey kids!
since no one is blogging i shall bore all of u with what's been going on in Melbourne.ok more like what's been going on with me.
Well i had Orientation week from Tues to Fri.

Tues was spent going around the Uni Campus with the help of a Host leader.I got Jay Zeal a postgrad.Cool+lame[better than boring]aussie guy with origins from Sri Lanka.
It was so daunting to go into campus and see all these Hosts holding balloons[which indicate the various faculties]Like hundreds of them in the same area.All of us were supposed to join 1 if we werent allocated a Host.alot of the 1st years just sat at the side staring at all these people[which included me till Jay approached me]
OHHH the funny thing was tt there was another Nadine in the grp.i thought it was quite hilarious.well she's pretty not like me.hahaha!i think she felt ashamed by me.hahaha!!!watever.
Around lunch i disappeared into Union House[a building with all the food u can get]
well not to eat....

...
....
to go to the QUEER LOUNGE!it totally rocked.we were supposed to introduce ourselves[well just say our names] then say what was the best thing u got for free.haha!it was hilarious coz this guy[gay of course.ahah!]said the best he got was a free newspaper.then the guy[gay as well.well u guys get the drift] next to him said the best free thing he got was reading the newspaper guy1 got.haha!so lame.
so they just sat there talking abt events in Uni and outside.and gay politics.

Wednesday was a crap day just going to introductory sessions to inform me of how each sub will be conducted and what to expect.i took notes in a How to Take Notes session.haha!how funny.ok lame.
ohhh but there was 1 incident worth saying.
i was on my way to a Bio introductory session when i met Jay in the hallway.
i waved to him as i walked closer.
Jay: u've got some explaining to do.[referring to me going missing during the Host programmme]
Me: ohh i was at the Queer Lounge.

Thursday and friday[yesterday] were CLUBS AND SOCIETIES DAY!!!
fun fun!well i joined loads of clubs.
Surfing+Inline-Skating+Dance+Taekwondo+Singapore-Society clubs.
Oh well i have no idea y in the world i joined the singapore society club.haha!
ok i shall not be mean.but i'm so...not Sinagporean at heart.if u get what i mean.
Heard the Dance club sucks.only after i joined it.damn.haha!their chorography sucks.well at least i get discounts for outside dance classes.haha!!
as for how i am going handle SOOOOO many clubs.surfing+inline-skating+singapore-society have events held throughout the year.not like i have to go every week for training or something.Dance?well i shall see if i go for the classes.Taekwondo!!!there are like a bunch of people all Victorian Champions in our club.this is the only club tt i have to go twice every week to train.but its cool.i wonder what my mum will have to say abt this.
Oh and i did pay money to join all these clubs.but all subsidised of course.woah!i just counted and i spent a total of $100 on all these clubs.

Well i was supposed to go try surfing today with my 2 cousins-Melissa and Jonathan and Melissa's bf and another friend.but due to bad weather we can't...so sad...oh well maybe next week...and Uni starts this coming monday...

Melbourne is flooded!!
The international Airport was closed on Wednesday.
Wednesday was when it started to rain like someone was emptying the Oceans on Melbourne.
All trams and trains were cancelled.
People were advised to stay away from the City area.
Water was up to knee-level.
Never has it rained like this for 150years in Victoria.
i've been trapped in my apartment for like 3 days!!
Bored as hell.been watching far too much tv.finally got to watch Billy Elliot tonite.Good show.
oh well i am now officially a Melbourne Uni Student.
and i actually enrolled for Bio, Phy, Chem and Math&stats.goodness i'm becoming a full-fledged nerd!haha...as if...
u know they have clubs and societies in uni.
well guess what?there's a chocolate appreciation club!
i'm thinking of joining tt club...haha!
u know it bloody costs $135 to join the track and field club!
now i'm re-considering whether i shld join tt.
and u know what's so full of rubbish?
they have the Taekwondo Club.BUT its a form of NON-CONTACT Taekwondo!like where's the fun in tt?!?!?

and i will be staying only like 1 block from my eldest cousin...

i've gotten back all my results except lit. F for math, O for econs and geog. math and econs i knew i couldnt make it. but geog? i was beaten. i felt bloody confident. but i got the humbling of my academic life. and chinese too. got D7. i don't love it and im not pro at it, but i don't expect 36/120 for my main paper. you just don't expect these grades.
lit- hopefully my only saving grace. otherwise, it'd be orientation 05 man. another yr in this sucky school.
on top of everything, i feel damn stupid. i studied but i'm getting these grades. if thats not stupid i don't know what is.
i'm stupid stupid stupid and i can't get that out of my head. skull.

Alright. Shall update about school.

Hmm. Well, I'm not exactly stressed up now! Cause why? I've handed up all my projects! All my presentations are over too! :D You don't know how stressed up I was for the past few weeks. Rushing through all those bloody projects and stuff. Left with tutorials and some studying to catch up with. I've got no idea what the teachers are talking about anymore. Was too tired to pay attention during lecture due to late nights. :( Got to start from scratch. -sigh- Examinations would be in two weeks time. Just pray that I don't get any Cs.

Studies are okay actually... I'm more worried with trainings. I can't seem to improve. Time's running out... The race is nearing. According to my senior, there are 28 people vying for the 14 seats in the boat. It's so hard... Especially when the seniors are more experienced than me. I don't know man. Mixed feelings. It's like I'm there but not there yet that kind of thing? Had training yesterday and I felt good about it. However, the coach didn't tell me anything! It's like he went to some people to correct their mistakes and stuff... But said nothing to me. Just that I was too tensed up and should relax. This could be good or bad. Good as in... Maybe my rowing is not too bad. Bad cause maybe he doesn't care! Urh. Maybe I'm too sensitive. :( I want that bloody IVP jacket and a seat in that boat! -sigh- Shall just wait patiently for race day to come. We won't know whose in the boat till the race day itself.

Jasmin's virgin entry made me want to write one too. Seems dark, very. Words loaded with more words. Sometimes, words can break. Do you follow? Seems to me, everyone might just be thinking more than they should.

I dont know if I ought to be placed in that category. I dont remember thinking anymore. Have I already gone past the stage where thinking merges together with everything I do? Neither do I seem to have the time to think. I keep falling asleep without knowing. It gets a lil freaky.

wohoooo!
i just took my learner's permit fora car this morning...
and i passed!88%!!yay!!
well its just the theory test but still...yay!haha...
oh everyone has to have the address on ur learner's permit
and they spelt the road name on mine wrongly...
A'becHett Street when it should be A'becKett Street...
and because the learner's permit was already "printed" out...
they had to paste the corrected address on the back...
so ugly...oh and i had to have a photo taken to be on the permit...
and i look like shit on it!so horrible...
i look damn sleepy and like some one's pushing me forward...
worse picture taken ever!!

well yesterday i told Jane[Melbourne uni] that i was gonna take the test today..
then she told Su-anne {melbourne Uni as well]
and Su-anne msged me to wish me all the best...
then i told her i better pass if not it'll be so embarrassing...
no one fails their theory test man...ok except my dearest cousin Melissa...haha...
then Su-anne replied "even if u don't pass just pretend u did"...haha!

Hardly anyone updates.. no surprise. Life is stale. Lol. And everyone else has their own blog. And here I am, with nothing better to do, just thought I'll update.

School is still school. Full of political shit. Results suck big time. Need to buck up so. Anyhow, hope everyone's results are fine. :)

today is supposed to be our school's formal...
u know like prom thingy...
and of course i didn't go...
anyway the teachers were so slack today...
my geography teacher actually brought Scrabble boxes to let us play the game during class time!
and ppl in my class actually didn't know how to play Scrabble...
that's so weird...
we had no line 9 and 10[line=period]
after dinner in the hostel...
i went up to the apartments with Syaima[used to from SAJC]
Munlin[from M'sia] and Wyn to see the rest of the girls get ready for prom...
well there was so much fuss man...
and all the girls looked so good man...
absolutely stunning...
the Singaporean group that i know in year 12 were being lame today...
they said 'hey ur not going to the formal right?come to our casual!"

i was like ok whatever...but i wonder if they were serious...haha!

OH! and guess what...i cut my hair!
ahha...i can hear the "again?" echo-ing from Singapore...
ahaha...
styled it mohawk style..but just thicker...haha!

here's what happened at the hair dresser...
i'm sure by now all of u know my hair dresser is gay...[yay!]
and his name is John...and he's from Mexico[i think...ahah...!]
what ever it is he can speak Spanish...
well he spent 4 years in Taiwan doing Uni...so he can speak chinese...which Wyn and i didn't know until much later...
and we kept conversing in chinese at first to say how i didn't like this and that...we were like SHIT! when we found out...
so anyway what happened today tickled me to much!
when he finished cutting my hair...
he stood behind me and played with my hair...haha!
coz he had to wash my hair but both basins were taken...
then he said "qi shi wo hen lei...wo zhuo wan wu dian ban cai shui..."
okay my han yu pin yin sucks...
so if u can't understand what i said...[and u probably wouldn't]
he said i'm very tired and i only slept at 5:30...
and i just laughed...i mean its so funny...he speaking chinese with his spanish accent...
so i just said "woah!ni zhuo wan si bu si can dian shi?"[u were watching tv?] he shakes his head... he says it was his off-day yesterday[in eng]
then i said " ni qiu tiao wu shi mah?"[literal:u went dancing?(actual meaning:u went clubbing?)]
he shakes his head again....[pls pardon my yan yu pin yin]
then i started thinking shit he was probably with his partner last night...[bad visual image...ahhh!]
hahah!then both of us just laughed...
i think its so funny...he's so cute man...speaking chinese to me...
of all people right?
later he was talking to this lady in Spanish...
and when he did that he put both of his hands on my head...!!
goodness...!like i'm his arm rest or something...haha...
OH! and John calls me sweetie...haha...so weird...sends a shiver down my spine when ever i hear that...

ok today physics was really hilarious
i know all of u must be thinking physics?hilarious?
well here's y...
i get into a class on the 9th floor which is a lab...
normally my physics class is on the 10th...
anyway i sit and wait for the teacher...
Mr Urquhart[physics teacher...i think he's of greek decent therefore the weird surname..haha]
comes in...
he says "ok today we have 2 guests"
i was like huh??
and he goes on to say "here's Snoopy.."he takes out the Snoopy u've seen in Macs...haha!
"and here's Mr Grealy[my gay maths teacher]" he takes out a SUPER MACHO JI joe action figure!
oh and mind u it is holding a whip[that's so SM...i wonder if my maths teacher's into that...ewww!]
hahaha!!ok actually the action figure was Mr Grealy's that's y he said Mr Grealy...haha...
and the action figure is of no resemblance to Mr Grealy...i mean absolutely none!

then...we start our class on dynamics...
so we have this Air Track...[i thought it looked pretty cool]
basically a metal piece which is triangular in shape...
the metal has holes in it...
and there are like 'trains' on it...
there is a vacuum cleaner attached to the right side of it...
Mr Urquhart goes on to say this is to describe how friction plays a part in motion..
he pushes the train and it stops shortly...
then he goes "now we shall switch on the vacuum so air is passing through the holes"
he pushes the 'train" and it continues to bounce off the sides of the track...
then u know what he did?
he put the JI joe figure on 1 of the 'trains'!
then he uses another train and knocks it in to the first 'train'..
of course the JI joe falls back wards...so retarded right?
he wanted to demonstrate inertia...
then he used Snoopy too!
hahaha!
but now he pushed the 'train' which Snoopy was on...
and it flew forward!haha!
then the funny part was he said "oh i think Snoopy just lost his hat[it was the Mexican one...haha]
ok yet again to demonstrate inertia...

the best part of the class was that i realised Mr Urquhart is a closet Magician...
haha!
he put like a bowl,cup,a fork and spoon on a table cloth before class...
so he leaves the front of the class...
casually moves to the bench with the bowls etc...
and he says "in fact u can do this because of inertia"
and he pulls the table cloth out undeneathe the stuff in like under 1 sec...!
and of course it doesnt fall all on the floor..
all of us were like ok...our physics teacher can do that?
haha!cool stuff man...

oh the shocking part is he told us...
"i used to put a slab of concrete on my lab assistant when i was teaching in Uni...
then i would use a sledge hammer and hit it...and it would just break to pieces"
oh ya of course he told us that coz he wanted to show how mass matters in dynamics..
i really wonder who was his poor assistant...it really sounds like he's a Magician..haha!

well i'm back in Melbourne now....
its really cold here...SUPER windy...hairs blowing all over the place...haha!
just had my first day of school...
pretty boring...didnt do any homework at all...
oh and guess what my luggage weighed 28.4kg and i only checked in one luggage bag...haha!
AND i totally forgot the PIN to my account...so i can't draw money from my account!
in fact i have to go to the bank tomorrow to reset my PIN...so lazy to go...
and i have an overdue phone bill which arrived when i was in Singapore...
was supposed to pay this bill but i realised i have no idea what my PIN was..argh!
anyway hope the A/O chinese listening went well for all those who took it...
